Common Goals

We believe connected communities are stronger communities, so our goal is to connect people to each other, and to the land we share. By collaborating with like minded Farmers and Consumers we can make change to improve soil health, increase food quality and improve human health.

Heritage and Landrace grains not only have higher nutrient content and better flavor, but they're naturally drought & pest tolerant, so they're better for the environment and better for our bodies. - Our partners are developing seed stock of landrace grains large enough for commercial use. - Now we're bringing these grains to you.

Dresbach Farm

We at Dresbach Farms are a family operation growing non-GMO crops of corn, soybeans, oats, wheat, sunflowers, grain sorghum heritage wheat, spelts, and open pollinated corn! Livestock plays a large role on our farm as well. Our cattle are rotationally grazed on pasture and cover crops and finished on our non-GMO grains. We also raise pastured broilers and hens that are fed our non-GMO grains in addition to their diverse diet from the pasture. We as a family are devoted to providing our community with nutrient dense food grown in a regenerative way, so in addition to selling our beef, chickens, and eggs we sell seasonal produce to our community. During the summer and fall we open our farm to the community for several events including farm to table dinner tours and sunflower days. If you would like to know more or see what is going on at our farm please visit our Facebook page at Dresbach Farms.

The Dresbach Farm is growing Maverick Spelt, Appalachian White Wheat, Grain Sorghum and Blue Clarage Corn.

McConnell Farm

Over the past several years Doug and Beth McConnell have learned more about regenerative farming practices such as using cover crops and inter-seeding corn crops with different forage mixes. In 2018 the McConnell Family Farm was awarded “Conservationist of the Year” from the Muskingum County Soil and Water Board. In the following fall of 2019, they received the “Family Conservation Award” from the State of Ohio.

The goal of the McConnell Family Farm is to take care of the soil, which allows them to grow better crops that feed their livestock. They intend to leave the earth in better shape than what they found it in. They want their animals to be happy and healthy while in their care. They want you as their customer to Eat Well, Eat Local.

Local Millers

Joe Bozzi and family are working with the Brandt family to mill and market local grains.

Empowering others to enjoy fresh farm-to-plate cuisine is our passion. Which is why we are proud to serve the local community with the freshest flour selections milled here locally. We partner with local bakers and eateries to develop and supply them with locally-milled flours for various fresh-baked menu offerings. Our nutritious stone-ground cookie flours, pastry flours, pizza flours, bread flours, and pasta flours are as fresh, as complete and as local as you can get, while benefiting the environment.
